Data Clouds

This series reflects my interest in AI and its use of large “data clouds” to model our perception of what is real and/or true. These digital cloud specimens were derived from polygonal models for 3D computer graphics. 

My method of painting uses contrasting patterned nets without intersections. At the gaps of each crossing point, I placed a dot of phosphorescent paint, so that, when seen in the dark the cloud becomes a nebula of stars.
