THESE WERE TREES

Three-word poems are stenciled onto telephone poles throughout the city, written by local poets and often tailored to specific locations. This public art project gathers these brief, place-based messages and installs them along a walking route or dispersed across neighborhoods, inviting moments of reflection in everyday spaces.
